The Anjani Mashelkar Inclusive Innovation Award is an annual award of 100,000 given to the innovators who have prototypes or a commercialized product or service. The theme of this mini challenge is to address the problems faced by the most disadvantaged sections of society in India.
The awardees will preferably be those who believe not just in 'best practices', but in 'next practices'. Most importantly, it will value solutions that represent 'affordable excellence', breaking the myth that 'affordability' and 'excellence' cannot go together.
