The India Africa Entrepreneurship Forum in partnership with State Bank of Mauritius (SBM) is organizing a three day India Africa Entrepreneurship & Investment Summit in Mauritius, supported by the Economic Development board of Mauritius.
The Summit will witness some of the pre-eminent entrepreneurs and angel investors discuss the opportunities and challenges of investing in Africa with a view to create a sustainable ecosystem that can not only benefit both providers and seekers of seed capital but also helps expand into each other geographies.
The evening plannery began with welcome presentation by Satya the founding member of IAF delved into to the the ancient connections between Africa and India and submitted a 10 year roadmap for collaboration between 982 geographies through education research Innovation and entrepreneurship. The Honorable minister elaborated upon the diverse collaboration initiatives between Mauritius and India he also show emphasised on Mauritius being the spring Board for this initiative in Africa. The The Ambassador to Mauritius from India Tanmay Lal drove home the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship in the New Era. He extended all possible collaboration on behalf of the Government of India.The last speaker was Derrick ashong role model African who with the humble background from accra Ghana went on to study in Harvard and is now an entrepreneur in the area of creativity and music.
